East Coast Admins Chapter operates through the work of dedicated volunteer members. Aside from the Chapter Executive (President, President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer), there are several different committees which plan and organize various events or maintain chapter programs. Committee work is also a great way to build new skills and make new contacts.
Administrative Professionals Day Committee
Chair - TBA
Plans the annual Administrative Professionals Day seminar and luncheon and promotes the recognition of admins.
Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee
Chair - Bernadette Fifield, CAP-OM
Ensures the chapter By-laws and Standing Rules conform to the International By-laws and Standing Rules and the Division By-laws and Standing Rules and properly reflect the business of the chapter.
Chair - Dianne Smith
Stimulates interest and encourages participation in the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) programs as well as maintaining chapter study resources and organizing study groups.
Chapter of Excellence
Chair - Debbie Chafe
To monitor and promote activities related to the Chapter of Excellence criteria.
Chair - Lenore Cahill, CAP
Plans/organizes educational events for office professionals including monthly meetings and special seminars. Assists with the Administrative Professionals Day seminars.
Chair - Victoria Larkin, CAP-OM
Directs all activities of the chapter concerned with the recruitment and maintenance of membership.
Newsletter Committee (and Webmaster)
Chair - Amanda Greeley
Prepares the chapter's newsletter. Collects articles and information, solicits content from members, edits and designs layout, and distributes newsletter to members and to other chapters or interested individuals.

Recruits members to serve on the executive for the upcoming year and coordinates the nomination and election process.
Public Relations Committee

Promotes and publicizes chapter activities through releases to the press and other media and contact with interested individuals.
