President's Message
“Be The One” - the 2012 – 2013 IAAP International Board Theme. As Karlena Rannals, CAP-OM IAAP International President said “each of us can "Be the One" to ignite the future of IAAP.” The future of IAAP and the East Coast Admins (ECA) Chapter starts with you. “Be The One” to grow your skill set as an administrative professional. Membership gives you the opportunity to gain valuable leadership and team-building skills and professional development opportunities.
“Be The One” to make a difference...in your chapter
Step outside your comfort zone and chair or sit on one of the chapter committees. In May 2013 consider putting your name forward for an executive position – President-elect; treasurer; and secretary.
“Be The One” to make a difference... in your career. Attend one or all four of our two-hour educational sessions:
“Be The One” – who efficiently manages and controls time
“Be The One” – who masters the art of delegation
“Be The One” – who understands that GEN X + Y+ Z = success
“Be The One” – who effectively defuses stressful situations
Remember, this is your Chapter! Your Board is always open to suggestions to ensure we continue to meet our members' needs and meet the challenges in the upcoming years. Join our dynamic team, join in the fun we are having, and join in achieving the Chapter's goals. As a result, ECA Chapter will indeed “Be The One”!
